SLICE P0w Wow Media Kit Creative Content
The CSUDH Center for Service Learning, Internships & Civic Engagement (SLICE) is committed to facilitating and fostering quality experiential learning opportunities for students. They support the development of symbiotic relationships between the CSUDH campus, local communities in the Greater Los Angeles/South Bay areas, and global neighbors in the world community. SLICE advocates campus contributions of knowledge and skill which promote the quality of life in these communities while supporting social justice values and civic responsibility. They support high-impact practices for student success including experiential learning and community-based research. Their work upholds the University Mission in its commitment to "excellence and pluralism in higher education and to further the goals of a democratic society through wide participation and civic responsibility in community, social, and economic affairs."
SLICE 2021 StoryBoard Template
I created this storyboard template in order to illiterate what our organization’s PSA would consist of. This was a great way to include a visual representation of the project. This was my first time creating a storyboard template and it was great to have the experience to create something new and successfully execute it on the project and create a PSA from it.

SLICE 2021 Social Media Snapchat and Instagram Filters
I created these filters in order to showcase the pow wow event through social media. This was a great way to get our audience to interact with our event virtually. I wanted to add a combination of CSUDH school colors and the SLICE Logo. This was a great experience for me as it highlights my skills and abilities to create social media content and design social media filters.

SLICE 2021 Project PSA
This PSA was recorded and edited for SLICE. During this time, it was difficult to record content because of the pandemic but I was able to follow safety procedures and capture clips in order to create a PSA for SLICE Pow Wow. This project on consisted of doing media production, scripts, press releases, social media content, and a final paper. We presented this video to a group of 50 individuals and spoke to clients regarding their mission to work with us and their ideas in order for us to successfully execute it.
Softwares used: Final Cut Pro, Photoshop. Audacity, Garage Band
